What is 🧠 TMS Treatment ？
TMS treatment (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy) is a method of treating the brain using magnetic stimulation by placing special coils on the head.
A magnetic field is generated by passing an electric current through the coil, and changes in the magnetic field make it possible to pinpoint and stimulate specific areas of the brain.
Since only the targeted area is stimulated, there is no effect on the surrounding area and side effects are considered to be very low.
Unlike conventional drug therapy, there is little burden on the body and no downtime after treatment. Therefore, patients can undergo treatment while continuing their daily lives.

During the treatment, you can relax in a reclining chair while watching TV or your smartphone ☕

🛋 Esketamine🛋
Spravato ® What is the ？

Esketamine treatment we offer is a safe, medically supervised treatment using a nasal spray of the drug
Spravato ®.
Spravato is a nasal spray. Used as a nasal spray, it acts directly on the brain and is believed to have a rapid effect.
It has a different mechanism of action than conventional antidepressants and is recommended for patients who have had insufficient improvement with conventional pharmacotherapy.
Treatment is always conducted in the presence of medical staff, and patients are monitored in the hospital for a certain period of time after use. This makes it possible for patients to undergo treatment with full consideration given to safety.

During treatment, you can relax on the sofa while listening to music ・ reading ・ coloring books or doing whatever you like ☕

🍃 What is depression ？ 🍃

Depression is a condition in which the brain is not functioning properly due to a combination of various mental and physical stresses.
It is never a "mood" or a "personality problem".

Depression can make it difficult to think positively about things, and the depressed mood may persist, or the person may not be able to enjoy things he or she used to enjoy. In addition, physical discomforts such as difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, and tiredness may appear, which may interfere with daily life. When these conditions persist, there is a possibility of depression. Recent research has shown that depression is not a "mental illness" but rather a disease related to brain function. In particular, it is believed that the weakening of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex （ in the front part of the brain, called the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex ）, is closely related to the symptoms of depression.

If you are experiencing strong stress or anxiety, or if you feel depressed and helpless, please do not suffer alone, but consult with us first.
We have Japanese speaking staff in our office, so please feel free to contact us in Japanese.
